tinyblog squaredancing poll

So, it's time to vote on the issues that matter to you. Well, just one issue actually, and it's really only important to me. So thank you for voting.

Is it possible to like squaredancing, and still be cool?

a.  Absolutely. Nothing is cooler than squaredancing.
b.  Squaredancing is niether cool nor uncool.
c.  You just can't be cool while you're squaredancing.
d.  Maybe if you only liked it when you were a kid.
e.  If you ever once thought fondly of squaredancing you are a complete dork.

I am way out of the cool/uncool stage of life, but that certainly does not prevent me from giving my opinion. Squaredancing as an athletic event is cool but those outfits are definitely not cool. Country dancin' boots and jeans are cool, of course, but those frilly dresses of squaredancing are just scary.

"Cool" is completely relative to whatever peer group you're trying to impress anyway. I'm sure there's people in square dancing groups who are envied and emulated by other square dancers becuase they have the frilliest dress or whatnot...
