a beachcomber brunch
At Ross and Jo-Ann Yockeys. The food was awesome and the scenery spectacular, complete with herons, purple anenomes and gorgeous seastars like this one Beth caught.
They adorned the rocks like jewel-studded ornaments, like blown glass... Like, well, honestly, some of the little sea thingies looked uncannily like Uncle Harveys very droopy unmentionables.
Dee was curious, what could be in the shells?
The naturalist showed us-An opalescent, long-horned nudibranch!
We also found moon snail shells, squirting clams and this lovely scallop.
It was an enchanting morning, fit for a goretex mermaid.
